As its great protagonist, La Cala Taverna includes fish from the fish markets of the twinned towns of Palamós and Ametlla de Mar. The chef Tomàs Brull asserts his roots and pays homage to his inherited culinary culture with a cuisine based on tradition as well as incorporating new ingredients and techniques. His philosophy is based on the constant search for the best and most trustworthy local products.

 Closed on Sunday night and Mondays. Tuesday in winter only open at noon.

From a fishing family. With a career as a cook since the age of 18, he has worked in different restaurants in the Empordà and has done different internships in other houses in the Catalan panorama and in the Basque Country.

HEAD WAITRESS
NÚRIA DOMÈNECH

Born in Palamós, she has dedicated his entire life to the hospitality industry, working at renowned restaurants in Barcelona and the south of France. Great professional and trainer of competent and decisive teams.
