A restaurant in a historic building which was built by G. Eiffel's company, near Palamós Port, with views over the sea. It has three dining rooms and a terrace. Its gastronomic offer is based on local produce and its star ingredient is the prawn from Palamós. Its wine cellar contains a large selection of wines from the area, as well as national and international ones.

Days closed: Wednesday, except during the summer
Holidays: two weeks in November and two weeks in February
Average menú price: 45,00 - 50,00  €
Menus available: Maritime menu, Fishermen's Ranxo menu and “In the evening more than tapas” menu

Alex is the best example to show that if you love your trade, you can go far. He started from scratch, as a kitchen assistant doing work practice, on leaving the School of Catering. He went through all the kitchen levels until directing the kitchen at Restaurant La Gamba. Restless, nonconformist, interested, dedicated, humble and a few more virtuous adjectives which, together with his dedication, make him a professional with a great outlook.
