BREAD WITH TOMATO AND ANCHOVIES

Each restaurant belonging to the Cuina de l’Empordanet offered an aperitif consisting of bread with tomato and anchovy to each guest on ordering their meal. The aperitif was offered free of charge by each establishment and was accompanied by a leaflet explaining the campaign.

It was carried out in July and August 2007 and was a joint action organised by the Cuina de l’Empordanet, the Catalan Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Action, the “Anxova de L’Escala Unió de Saladors” and the DOP Oli de l’Empordà.
